SUSSEX TO OPEN IN SOHO

Yes the Sussex countryside is coming to Central London as the Gladwin Brothers (who run The Shed, Rabbit and Nutbourne) head for Soho, opening Sussex on the old Arbutus site. Naturally, produce will come from Sussex, much of it from the Gladwin’s family farm and vineyard, with Oliver Gladwin using it to cook dishes like smoked trout cornettos with blood orange pearls; hand dived scallops with blood pudding and jerusalem artichoke; rabbit loin and carrot terrine; roasted brill with Devon crab ravioli; pork tenderloin with malted pig’s cheek and rainbow chard; and dandelion custard tart with stewed plums.

Wines from the family’s Nutbourne vineyard will feature heavily on the drinks list, joined by handpicked bottles from further afield.
