Sweeties, The Standard hotel’s opulent 10th-floor bar (and one of the best cocktail spots in town), is adding more cocktail innovations to its list: the world’s first ‘super premium’ poppers. Excalibur XO, created by Bompas & Parr, will be served alongside Sweeties’ cocktail pairings as part of a special collab for London Cocktail Week (with strict regulatory policies in place to ensure the safety of participants). The launch comes as a celebration of Queer innovation, with sex positivity and pleasure at its centre, and all proceeds taken are to be donated to the Tom of Finland Foundation, which is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the late artist’s archive of homoerotic art.
