SUPA YA RAMEN TO OPEN IN DALSTON

After lockdown ruined his place on Hackney Road, Luke Findlay is finally taking his cult ramen supper club Supa Ya Ramen permanent with a 20-cover spot on Kingsland Road. Findlay started hosting weekly Supa Ya Ramen supper clubs in his home kitchen before running a string of successful pop-ups and takeovers, including recent sell-outs at Mortimer House and Snackbar, and launching successful DIY kits. Now he’s ready to open his very own ramen bar.

The menu will feature four bowls of ramen, including his chicken soup, Iberico pork fat, salt beef & pickles ramen and the confit tomato broth with sesame miso, fried cabbage & parmesan ramen, alongside a rotating special. There’ll also be a selection of small plates, like roast chicken skin with fermented chilli & onion mayo and cold fennel & hot pepper sausage with pickled mayo, plus a pudding of noodle ice cream with miso caramel. It’ll be BYOB with a small corkage fee for the moment but drinks are planned for later down the line. And if you want to get into Supa Ya Ramen early, you can get £10 bowls during the soft launch on 2nd September.
