SUPA YA RAMEN TO OPEN IN HACKNEY
Cult ramen supper club Supa Ya Ramen, run by Luke Findlay, is going permanent with a 16-cover restaurant opening on Hackney Road this year. After working at the likes NOPI, Patty & Bun and Berber & Q, Findlay started hosting weekly Supa Ya Ramen supper clubs in his home kitchen before running a string of successful pop-ups and takeovers.
To comply with social distancing rules, the Hackney Road restaurant will open supper club-style with bubble bookings for 6-8 people. The private dinners will cost £25 a head, which includes either a meaty or veggie bowl of ramen, veggie food for the table, corkage for BYOB and service charge. There’ll be three sittings of 1 hour 15 minutes each night, running Wednesdays – Sundays, and you can book via Instagram.
