SUMMER SOLSTICE WINE DINNER

You might have noticed the killer skies over London this week and that’s because Friday is this year’s summer solstice, aka the longest day of the year. To celebrate the Gherkin is hosting a special summer solstice wine dinner in its restaurant, right at the top of the building. Tickets to this one-off event will cost you £85pp, which gets you five courses paired carefully with five natural wines and one of the closest seats to the sky in London.

The evening is hosted by specialist natural wine supplier Les Cave De Pyrene and dishes on the menu include fillet of Longhorn beef with truffle potato terrine, wild mushrooms and silver skin onion and a selection of artisan cheeses from the British Isles, and it’s all served alongside live music. Just make sure those phone batteries are on 100% because the sky is gonna be lit, literally!
