We all love a festive sandwich but Sub Cult and Colman’s may just have created the best one we’ve ever seen….a 28-inch monster sub featuring duck, lamb, beef and gammon. Yes, there’s no turkey in sight in this sarnie – apparently, one-third of Brits won’t be cooking up the classic bird this year, opting for alternative meats instead. This bad boy consists of confit duck and sprout leaves with mulled orange and Colman’s cranberry sauce; slow-cooked lamb shoulder with pistachio, roast carrot, pea and Colman’s mint sauce; rare roast beef, truffled parsnips, beef fat and Colman’s horseradish; and braised gammon, Colman’s English Mustard and pickled red cabbage sauerkraut all on a American deli-style roll. DROOL.
The sub feeds four people (or less if you’re hungover and have got a serious case of the munchies) and is only available from their Boxpark shop for a very limited time, so don’t hang about!
