SUB CULT TO GO PERM IN THE CITY

They’ve popped up all over town with their epic sarnies and now the Sub Cult team finally has a permanent spot to call home. Opening right by St Paul’s this June, the shop will seats for 14 as well as a takeaway so you can get your sarnie fix on-the-go.

The menu will feature breakfast subs like the Skandi Sub (smoked salmon, cream cheese and beetroot kimchi), the Sub-Conscious (seitan, harissa and roasted peppers) and the Sub Contractor (bacon, white pudding and baked egg, as well as old faves such as the steak and truffle mayo Rodeo Sub, the portobello mushroom and stilton Subterranean, and the pork, calamari and scallop Sub Marine.

And the sarnie action doesn’t stop there because Sub Cult is putting two brand new creations on the menu to celebrate the new shop. There’s the Subano, a take on the Cubano with roast pork, honey glazed ham and swiss cheese, and the Queen Bee special (named in homage to Queen Boudicca because the street the shop is on is where she fought the Romans), which features roast chicken, ham hock, wild garlic aioli and chilli honey. Yum and yum. And if you’re one of the first 200 people through the door on launch day, you’ll get a FREE SUB.
