Sub Cult is throwing a 90s-themed party to celebrate their new home at Boxpark Shoreditch. They’ll be giving out 350 free sub sliders, including the Piggy Smalls (slow roast pork shoulder, crackling, apple sauce, sage mayo), the Sole II Sole (crispy lemon sole, salsa verde, grilled baby gem, chorizo crumb) and the Cypress Grill (grilled halloumi, grilled peppers, herb yoghurt, crispy onion) on the night. And as well as a bangin’ nineties soundtrack, subculture artist Gavin Watson will be exhibiting some rave archive photos, and there’ll be a special Watson Sub (slow cooked brisket, mushroom, stilton, truffle mayo, onion jam, pickled chilli) for sale, with the proceeds going to homeless charity Aslan. The party is FREE to attend but you do need to register for a place here.
