SS style talk

So we’ve already brought you stripes for summer but sometimes one print just isn’t enough…that’s where the cut & splice trend comes in, with contrasting patterns and clashing colours mashed together in one piece. Given that it’s summer, florals is a popular print to mix and match. Geometric patterns that are cut and spliced together often include monochrome alongside other shades, so this is a good way to go if you don’t want anything overly feminine. Another alternative is to look for tonal patchwork pieces…it nods to the trend without diving right in, perfect if you like to keep it minimal. Basically you can go as understated or as mad as you like, but more is definitely more.
