SouthEast London has gone all Balearic on us of late by opening up London’s newest AND largest clubbing venue, Studio 338. The venue opened in Greenwich in March and has already become one of the most talked about venues of the year. Studio 338 is drawing in some of the biggest acts in electronic music and has just added to its event schedule a night hosted by legendary German trance DJ Sven Vath’s infamous record Label Cocoon Recordings. This latest Cocoon takeover will take place on July 5th, is scheduled to last an epic 15 hours, from 3pm all the way through to 7am the following morning and will feature a host of Cocoon legends young and old. Ilario Alicante, Martinez, Dorian Paic and Dana Ruh will be laying down a mix of house and techno for London EDM enthusiasts to burn off some of their summer energy.
The venue, which also houses London’s largest outdoor heated terrace, has been likened to super club Space Ibiza and 338’s Musical Director Dan Perrin has said previously “if Fabric is Berlin, this place is Ibiza or Croatia”. First release tickets are currently priced as £12.50 so if you’re super organised and planning your summer schedule get your tickets early to ensure your spot at what is bound to be one of summer’s most memorable events.
