Tickets for last year’s West End run of Fleabag were harder to get than an Ocado delivery slot so it’s very good news that Phoebe Waller-Bridge has made a filmed performance of her one-woman show available to stream. You can watch it on Soho Theatre’s on-demand site and on Amazon Prime Video until 28th June.
The show costs £4 to rent (with higher price points if you can afford it) with the money being split between NHS Charities Together, National Emergency Trust, Acting for Others (supporting those struggling across the theatre sector) and the Fleabag Support Fund (for UK based freelancers in theatre).
As Phoebe has said, “I hope this filmed performance of Fleabag can help raise money while providing a little theatrical entertainment in these isolated times… All money raised will support the people throughout our society who are fighting for us on the frontlines and those financially devastated by the crisis, including those in the theatre community.
