If your idea of a good weekend is not stopping, this one’s for you. Waterworks Extended is landing at The Cause in September for a special 36-hour edition – one continuous dance running from 12pm on Saturday 12th September through to midnight, spread across the venue’s warren of dance floors. It’s extended hours, extended sets and extra production, at one of the capital’s most beloved grassroots venues.
The A–Z line-up is stacked with names, highlights including Bradley Zero & Erol Alkan, Christian AB & Craig Richards, Eris Drew, Midland, Leon Vynehall, Raresh & Sonja Moonear, OK Williams & Skee Mask, Daniel Avery, Djrum, DJ Storm and Objekt, plus live sets from Reptant, Alex Kassian, Manami and Decius Soundsystem. Sunday leans into collective-led takeovers from the likes of Keep Hush, Outlook Festival and Rupture, while Resident Advisor marks its 25th anniversary with a Warehouse takeover across the whole event. Co-founder Dave Harvey reckons it’s “a really special show that London has not seen before” – and with the sets stretching out and the soundsystems given room to shine, it’s a rare chance to hit the floor for the long haul.
