more to Stories Bar on Broadway Market than lazy brunches and mighty fine wifi! Next Sunday 2nd of Feb you’ll be able to catch an award-winning documentary with a screening of 2000’s ‘Dark Days’. Following the lives of those inhabiting NYC’s subway tunnels, it’s a reflection on displacement and human nature.

With a soundtrack by DJ Shadow, the film made a splash on its release and it’s just as relevant 14 years later. Alongside the screening will be a talk from The Hermitage Project, design students who are tackling the issue of homelessness.

Tickets cost £5 with £2 going to The Whitechapel Mission, so consider doing something worthwhile after your Sunday roast.
