Do you like your goods to be ‘locally sourced’? What about ‘unethically produced’? Yes a pop-up shop with a difference is coming to Brick Lane. The Stolen Goods Shop, hosted by insurance app Back Me Up, aims to raise awareness of theft and collect some cash for charity at the same time. The shop will be stocked full of previously stolen, police-seized items, ranging from the commonly pinched cameras and laptops to the more unusual Princess Diana stamp collections. All pieces are available for your purchasing pleasure, with the profits going to Mind, Shelter and The Prince’s Trust. You never know, you might get your hands on a right steal.
