stik sculpture coming to hoxton square

Street artist Stik is installing one of his famous stick figure sculptures in Hoxton Square later this year as part of the Hackney Pride 365 Festival. If you’ve been around East London you’ll have seen one of the figures on a wall and now this piece, called ‘Holding Hands’, will bring them to life. Standing 4m tall and featuring the LGBTQI+ Pride banner, the sculpture “symbolizes the love expressed between two people regardless of gender, sexuality, religion or ethnicity”. There’s no installation date yet but work on the piece has already begun so watch this space.
