It’s been a few years since Stephen Fry gave up hosting duties on QI but now he’s getting back into the world of trivia by hosting a virtual pub quiz on 13th May. It’s all in the name of charity, with the quiz raising money for Riverside Studios to ensure that the Hammersmith-based arts space can survive post-lockdown. 10% of proceeds will also be donated to Imperial Health Charity to support hospitals in the area too. And Stephen’s not only the quizmaster taking part, Gyles Brandreth and Jo Brand are also taking the reins, so there are actually three quizzes you can take part in.
QI producer John Lloyd has curated the quiz, with rounds on art, comedy, music, theatre, cinema and food & drink. Tickets cost £25 and there are prizes up for grabs, including dinner for four at Sam’s Riverside Brasserie and a year’s worth of Riverside Studios cinema tickets.
