many pop-ups involve obscure locations and unknown chefs, the Stelle di Stelle pop up restaurant is entirely the opposite. Located on the basement floor of Harrods, Stelle di Stelle has worked with 5 of Italy’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs with each of them hosting a month long residency at the Knightsbridge department store.

Having been running since September, three chefs have already been and gone but there’s still plenty of time to catch December’s menu created by Giorgio Pinchiorri and Annie Féolde who run the three Michelin-starred Enoteca Pinchiorr.

At £115 for five courses (£140 with matching wines) it’s not cheap, but it definitely works out cheaper than flying to Italy and there is some bloomin’ good food and wine on offer here. Highlights include poached egg with Alba white truffle and Grand Padano cheese fondue; fusilli pasta with artichoke, scampi and liquorice powder; and rack of lamb with polenta.

This menu is available throughout December before Enrico Crippa takes over for the final month of January. Belissimo!
