hotel group has been in the spotlight in a fair bit of late mostly due to The Mondrian which recently opened it’s doors in The Sea Containers. But don’t worry the hotel group haven’t forgotten their two other London properties, The Sanderson and St Martins Lane.  Both hotels have had their rooms refurbed courtesy of interior designer Tim Andreas.

We recently spent the night in St Martins Lane and we have to admit the rooms didn’t feel that different. Having kept their simple decor but with a few twists like the pale leopard print carpets, illuminated surfaces, Tchin Tchin chairs, hand painted designs on the room shades and updated tech they have simple been improved rather than drastically changed.

Beds are still uber comfy, sheets are crisp white, bathrooms are huge with MALIN+GOETZ products and robes (although for the price we did miss a bath!) and location wise it couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Covent Garden. St Martins Lane might be an oldie but it’s certainly doesn’t feel that way when you stay…

Rates from £230.
