ST JAMES’S MASTERCLASS | HOW TO BUILD AN ART COLLECTION

St James’s London is home to a diverse range of brands, from retailers to restaurants, but each one shares a passion for craftsmanship and skill. And now the residents of St James’s are letting you in on their secrets with a series of masterclasses. And for the next event in the St James’s ‘One of a Kind’ series, you can learn how to build an art collection with Christie’s.

Specialists from the auction house will be on hand to show you a range of artworks from the 20th and 21st Century, including pieces by Picasso, Chagall and Hockney. Not only will you have the chance to view some incredible art, you’ll also be able to pick up tips on how to start your own art collection, from the things you should look out for and how you can collect big names at reasonable prices – you can actually start with Picasso for around £600.
