Street Feast is putting the Woolwich food scene on the map, setting up a new site there this March. Located in the Plumstead Road Covered Market, SF Woolwich aka Public will feature 8 street food stalls with rotating traders, including Yum Bun, Salt Shed, Burger & Beyond and Rust Bucket Pizza Co, three specialist bars and an ‘activity space’ plus lots of seating….enough for 300 in fact. Besides the food and drink shenanigans, the space will be used for pop-ups like movie nights, sports and kids clubs. While it all sounds fun, it’s only temporary with a shelf life of two years before the whole god damn thing is knocked down to make way for a giant KFC – only kidding – housing init!
