We might be stuck indoors but spring is definitely not cancelled. We’re celebrating the sun from our sofa by cracking open a bottle or five. Here’s our favourite spring wines to get you started….
Chêne Bleu Rosé
We’re big fans of the Chêne Bleu winery in southern Rhône. They were a trailblazer for sustainable and biodynamic winemaking and they support local bee populations – buzzing. Their wines are very drinkable too, including this rich, complex rosé.
Bruno Paillard Rosé Champagne
Bruno Paillard make excellent champagnes that won’t break the bank (by champagne standards!). This premiere cuvée rosé is a beautiful light pink and makes a great option for a celebration – like a lockdown birthday, or maybe even lockdown ending?!
Mirabeau Pure Provence Rosé
Nothing says holiday like a crisp, cold bottle of Provence rosé – we’ll be donning our finest striped t-shirt and white chinos to sip on this one.
Ridgeview Fitzrovia Rosé
If you’re feeling patriotic, this English fizz is the perfect tipple to toast the Great British Summer. Tastes great come rain or shine.
Tillingham White
Super smashable English natural white wine. This one goes with anything and everything. Great value too (and a little dangerous).
Joiseph Mischkultur 2018
One of our fave natural wine suppliers, Modal is now doing deliveries direct to your door including this fresh AF white.
Samas 2018 Sardinia
If, like us, your kitchen skills go as far as ladling chilli oil on everything, then this wine is fruity enough to stand up to your spice.
Renegade Nat Fiz Rosé
We’re partial to a bottle of Pet Nat and this one is made in the depths of the tropics… you guessed it, Bethnal Green. Chin Chin!
