based Spring King cite Badminton and Flaxseeds as influences behind their hooky guitar pop anthems…must be doing them some good as the hotly tipped quartet have recently been supporting Courtney Barnett on tour and have also secured places at Live at Leeds and Blissfields festival this summer.

‘City’ has all the ingredients of an indie floor-filler- energetic beats, fervent guitar and one hell of a chorus. The video is equally captivating, based on the short story by Alan Sillitoe ‘The Loneliness of the Feminist Bank Robber’, it features balaclava clad, gun wielding cheerleaders against a backdrop of psychedelia and retro artwork.
