born brother and sister duo Thom and Lucy Southern sound like what they are- youthful yet mature, Liverpool based and from the ninties. Not only does their sound agree with their description, it seems the boot fits with their latest track title too…

‘Cool Kid’ is bluesy with the bounce of Blur and has an effortlessly nostalgic feel to it. Think Primal Scream circa ‘Give Out But Don’t Give Up’ meets The Las and you wouldn’t be far off. Don’t be fooled by all the ninties references though, this isn’t some tired out rip-off track…every note is filled with enough energy to run a village for a week and that’s even if everyone left their telly with the red dot still on. We double triple dare you not to dance along.
