SOTHEBY’S IS HOSTING A MAY DAY COVID-19 CHARITY AUCTION

Ever wanted to have a coffee with Hillary Clinton? Or hang out and chat music with The Strokes? Well, now you can. Sotheby’s and Google have teamed up for a charity auction to raise money for the International Rescue Committee’s efforts to combat Covid-19, and the lots on offer are pretty epic. The virtual experiences include recording a song with Sting, taking a Shakespearean acting class with Sir Patrick Stewart, going on a tour of Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey) with Julian Fellowes, and learning how to cook a steak with Heston Blumenthal.

All the lots are on offer with no reserve and you can share or transfer them. Many of the experiences can be enjoyed by a group of people or you could even buy one for someone who deserves a little gift.

The auction is being run on New York time, meaning it’ll end on Friday evening for us, so get bidding!
