SOHO SPEAKS OUT | INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY

Social platform Can We Just Ask is hosting the exclusive panel talk Soho Speaks Out this month in honour of International Men’s Day. Yes IMD does exist and it’s about encouraging men to teach boys values and responsibilities as well as addressing issues like men’s health. The panel, held at The Chapel at The House of St Barnabas, features influential and inspirational men of Soho speaking about their experiences across a range of different industries in the area.

Soho tailor Mark Powell will be speaking about growing and sustaining a successful fashion business; area manager of Footpatrol Jimmy Horrocks will be speaking about commitment and success in retail; Kricket’s co-founder and head chef Will Bowlby will be giving out advice on how to crack the food industry; HOSB’s Programme and Employment Manager Brian Beaton will talk about how the member’s club aim to break the cycle of homelessness; and Samaritans‘ listening volunteer James Spackman will discuss the importance of International Men’s Day and the charities vital emotional support when it comes to men’s mental health.

The event is totally FREE to attend but you’ll have to enter the ballot to be in with a chance of securing a pair of tickets.
