Swedish bakery (that’s actually originally from Scotland) Soderberg has arrived in London, opening on Berwick Street where Vital Ingredient used to be.
Open all day, the bakery and cafe does both eat-in and takeaway food, with open sarnies, breads, cardamom buns, other pastries and sourdough pizzas on offer. The coffee from Swedish roasters Johan & Nyström, which isn’t found too many places in the city, so this is one to hit up if you’re serious about your beans. And if you re-use your coffee cups, you can get discounts on your brews and even some free buns, so it pays to be sustainable.
