Snap Up a Piece of The Savoy at This Auction

You could own a piece of one of London’s grandest hotels

Following a major renovation back in 2010, The Savoy is gearing up for another update, with a refreshed restaurant offering soon to be unveiled and a series of room and suite refurbishments to be revealed next summer. That means the hotel is going to have a load of old furniture, fixtures and fittings on its hands, so it’s hosting an auction in an effort to get them all to good homes.

There are almost two thousand lots on offer from across The Savoy’s public spaces and 267 rooms and suites, including the Personality Suites, named after some of the hotel’s most iconic guests. Sofas, chairs, tables, cabinets, lamps, mirrors, drapes, prints and more will all be going under the hammer.

The Savoy has been welcoming guests, including a host of royals and celebs, for over 135 years, making it a true London icon, and you could get your hands on a little piece of its legacy at this auction. It’s running on 11th and 12th December at the hotel and you can also join in online here.
