David Carter is already running weekend barbecue takeaways from Smokestak for local Londoners but now he’s going nationwide with DIY bun boxes and smoked meats by the pound. All the meats, including 15-hour beef brisket, brined pulled pork shoulder, sry-rubbed pork belly and chilli & fennel sausage, will be fully smoked and cooked in the restaurant with reheatng instructions coming in the box. You can order each meat by the pound or go or 2- or 4-pounder kit with all of them in plus barbecue sauces and pickles.
The bun kits come with four buns and a choice of brisket with pickled red chilli, pork belly with mustard BBQ sauce, or pulled pork with ginger slaw. And you can add on extra garnishes, sauces, the Smokestak sticky toffee pudding and bottled cocktails to orders too.
Orders open at noon on 29th June with London-wide delivery starting on 3rd July and nationwide from 31st July.
