starting as a pop-up back in 2014, Remi Williams and Aaron Webster’s Smoke & Salt is now taking up a yearlong residency upstairs at Islington’s Chapel Bar. With a focus on seasonal British ingredients and traditional cooking techniques, like smoking, curing and preserving, the Smoke & Salt experience consists of a five course tasting feast, with dishes like cipollini and bbq spring onion, grilled spring lamb, and pink grapefruit curd all on the menu for May. Coming in at £38 a head, Smoke & Salt is already great value for money but during the soft launch period, you can try it out for 30% less.
