Our favourite week of the year is just around the corner, London Cocktail Week! We don’t usually need any excuse to partake in a martini or two, but it’d be rude not to get involved! As usual, there will be loads of pop-up events going on around town and one that stands out is Smatt’s rum and ice cream shack in Covent Garden.
The summer may be long gone, but you can still pretend you’re on a Caribbean beach with these creamy boozy treats. Twist’s Tim Robinson will be creating twisted ice cream cocktails with Smatt’s Jamaican rum at the pop-up bar on Monmouth Street from 8th – 14th October, midday until 9pm daily.
There’s free tasting and cocktail making masterclasses for London Cocktail Week wristband holders, but the rest of us can turn up and experience their creations either chilling at the bar or relaxing at an intimate candlelit table, all with live blues music to complete the experience.
