If you thought the days of big US fast food chains (Five Guys, Shake Shack and the like) landing on these shores were over then you’d be wrong. Slim Chickens, straight out of Fayetteville, Arkansas is coming to London in 2018 after recognising that while the capital has been saturated by burger chains, high-end fried chicken specialists are slightly rarer (although we do have the lovely Butchies and CHIK’N of course). Slim Chickens has around 70 branches in the USA and if the menu over there is anything to go by we can soon expect to be tucking into cayenne ranch chicken sandwiches and chicken & waffles.
