After a successful pop-up on the Southbank, Slice by Pizza Pilgrims is going perm with a brand new shop in Finsbury Park. The spin-off concept combines the traditional pizza al metro from Naples with the famous giant slices from NYC, Slice is all long rectangular pizzas cut into big triangle sizes with flavours like the classic margherita; honey glazed pineapple, nduja & jalapeno; and penne alla vodka, yes that’s pasta on a pizza.
The Finsbury Park shop will also be serving up Amalfi lemon and peach ice tea boozy slushies as well as a selection of craft beers and wines, and there’ll be classic arcade games like Pac Man and Street Fighter for you to play once you’ve stuffed yourself with slices. And if you get in there early for the soft launch on 23rd August, there are 1000 free slices up for grabs, served at 12pm, 3pm and 6pm.
