is here and with it comes al fresco drinking – Hooray for the Summer we say! And so we’ve been at it again, hunting down the best outdoor spaces for your drinking pleasure.

The latest one to whet our appetitie is the Mint Hotel Tower of London’s SkyLounge. Located on the twelve floor of the hotel the Skylounge has a 360 degree view of the city, whichever way you turn you’re reminded that you are well and truly in London. To the right the Gherkin, to the left Tower Bridge and the Thames, straight ahead the Shard and over the river City Hall.

The bar serves a decent selection of cocktails for around £15 a pop or £7 for a beer. We’d suggest visiting on a weekend when it’s still fairly quiet, but make the most of it once that view hits the guide books it will be heaving!
