Apres-ski in London Fields? Yes friends, you heard right. Sloping in from its previous home in London Bridge, the brains behind The Skyroom, have set-up camp once more with a pop-up, Lumberjack-style rooftop lodge, overlooking the treetops of London Fields. Arriving just in time for the festive season, The Skylodge offers a cosy dinner and drinking den – along with heated dining booths and sofas all centred around a roaring fireplace.
Putting you in good stead for the mammoth eating sessions that await you over the Christmas season, expect lots of hearty dishes – from Smokey Maple Baby Back Ribs, Wolf Waffles with Mamma’s Pulled Pork, through to Mountain Cheese & Wild Mushroom Brioche. Diet, WHAT DIET? And to wash it all down, why not try one of their hot toddies (think hot spiced ciders and hot buttered run and gingerbread drinks) or Martini and Schnapps cocktails?
Running throughout December and into the New Year, also expect experimental film nights with the Big Foot Film Club, campfire live acoustic music sessions with upcoming musical talent and London’s first and only Lumberjack Olympics Games. Tempted yet?!
