Tobacco Dock’s Skylight will be making its way to Peckham this August providing breathtaking views of the city that will give Frank’s a run for its money. The multi-dynamic bar, brunch spot and workspace pitching up on top of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts will be ideal for everyone from freelancers and boozy brunchers to party-hungry office workers looking for a late-night spot under the city lights. And with a capacity of 250 both inside and across the wraparound roof terrace, there’ll be plenty of room too.
On the all-day menu you’ll find dishes like burrata with tropea onions, smoked aubergine & nduja; roast beef on sourdough toast, Marmite mayo, crispy shallots & watercress; roasted courgettes with fine beans, straciatella, basil & mint; and roasted poussin with chicken fat mash & charred leeks. Cocktails are going to be big thing there too so you can sink some South London Iced Teas (a twist on the classic made with Hennessey & cranberry) and Cinco Pincantes (tequila, Cointreau & homemade chilli liqueur) whilst soaking up the view, and hopefully the South London sun too.
