Outdoor cinemas are nothing new in London with pop up movies appearing all over town, but one of the most highest profile outdoor cinemas will be arriving in Hyde Park this July. Sky Movies and Disney have come together to present British Summer Time in Hyde Park.
For four days from Monday 8th July, films will be shown four times a day in the park, kicking off at 10.30am with an hour and a half of kids entertainment from Disney Junior each day. Family classics such as Mary Poppins, Wall-E and War Horse will be screened at 1pm, with the fun continuing at 4pm with screenings of The Incredibles, Tangled, Finding Nemo and a very special Jungle Book sing-along.
The last movie each day will be at 7.30pm with films including Pirates of the Caribbean, Avengers Assemble and a final film to be decided by a public vote! Choices include The Muppets, Toy Story 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – oh you can’t beat a good Disney film.
Films cost just £3.50 and include the hire of the wireless headphones. If you want to splash out and impress your date, picnic packages are available to book in advance. Unleash your inner child!
