restaurants are going ever-upwards…Duck & Waffle, Sushi Samba, Ting at Shangri-La – and the latest in line is Sky Garden, opening at the top of the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building early January. Sure to help us break our New Year’s resolutions in style, Sky Garden will have everything under one glossy glass roof: a white-clothed kinda place in Fenchurch Seafood Bar & Grill on Level 37; a cool and casual brasserie in Darwin Brasserie; and late-night cockails (our personal fave) in Sky Pod.

The views go without saying, but the real wow-factor will be the landscaped gardens, making urban rooftop greenery even more of a trend than it already is. Finally, the whole shebang is being headed up by food designer “rhubarb”, so you just know it’s going to be a class act. Now we’ve just one question: where’s our invite to the launch?
