Celebs love making wine. Fergie’s got Fergalicious, Drew Barrymore’s got Barrymore Wines, Idris Elba’s got Porte Noire and his very own wine bar in King’s Cross to match. Then there’s Snoop Dogg, who’s got his fingers in a bunch of different wine bottles. Not only has he partnered with Aussie brand 19 Crimes to produce his own line of reds, rosés, and sparkling wine, but he’s also got his own brand, Cali by Snoop, which launched its first cuvée (a red) in the UK last year. Now, Snoop’s bringing out a rosé which is described as fruit-forward, with notes of ripe fresh strawberries, complemented with delicate florals and rose petal aromas.
To mark the release, and to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop, a Snoop-inspired hip-hop brunch is coming to a secret London location this October. The five-hour event will have back-to-back hip-hop and RnB anthems, Magic Circle Magicians, dancers, beatboxers and karaoke – plus, plenty of Cali by Snoop drinks (including bottomless sangria).
