DRIVER
RELEASED 11TH MAY 2015, MARATHON ARTISTS

Roll down the windows and pop the shades on as your summer driving song has arrived. Lone Driver is the first official single to drop from brother and sister duo Southern’s forthcoming debut album. The Southern Northern Irish duo entwine slick harmonies and playful bass behind mammoth riffs to deliver a bluesy-indie-folk hybrid that will keep you on your toes the whole way through.

“Feel what’s inside of you just right now. I wanna live my life” bellows Thom. The song is an embracement of the present, a YOLO for want of a better word. Better Word: Carpe Diem. The “Cool Kids” spent the last 18 months touring and honing their craft in support of Bastille, Jake Bugg and Hudson Taylor while creating their debut album with mega producer Mark Rankin. By the looks of it things won’t be heading south for Southern.

Lone Driver is out May 11th , available through Marathon Artist.
