WAY YOU’D LOVE HER

What’s not to like? from the opening notes, you just know it’s a pure summer tune; albeit a slightly leftfield one. Salty sea-breeze in the air. Festival vibes. Soundtrack to a cruising journey. The Way You’d Love Her has an innocent veneer, all shuffling drums and dreamy lyrics, but this lo-fi love song has a hook and sound that takes you a little out of your comfort zone.

The twangy slide guitar pitch bends and sounds like a 7″ that skips slightly after being left in the blazing summer sun. It’s like the summer of love is still rolling on. It’s a slice of gorgeousness that will nag you for ages. It’s also lead single from upcoming album Another One. He’s done Field Festival, but he loves the UK so much he’s back in September for another tour, including the Roundhouse (sold out) on Sep 9.

Salad Days, is due out 7th August on Captured Tracks
