second single from London’s Binary opens with the pounding of drums before David Troster’s vocal creeps in with a swirl of attitude complimented with industrial style guitar. The chorus explodes into an array of noise that captures the bands aggressiveness and shows an almighty rawness to Binary’s lo-fi electronic and driving guitar sound. ‘Modern Man’ will be released on 7” and DD on April 23rd via the bands own label Echoplex and shows that this lot can dive into slightly different territory not only on the lyrical front, which pushes some controversial boundaries but also in the heaviness of what makes Modern Man, this maybe down to producer Sean Beavan who has worked with the likes of Marilyn Manson. Singer and guitarist David Troster says, “we wanted to do something that was a lot more angry. I wanted to just rail against all the bullshit and vapid pop that seems to be prevalent in music these days.”

Although agressive the power of the melody still cuts through to hold that all important hook, the lo-fi electronic breakdown is pretty special before the track once again erupts into wave of noise with distorted fuzz guitars and screaming vocals. Turn it up and scream…
