SINGAPULAH & AROME TO OPEN IN VICTORIA

After opening in Soho at the back end of last year, Ellen Chew, the founder of Rasa Sayang in Chinatown, is taking Singaporean restaurant and bakery Singapulah & Arome to a new location in Victoria this spring. Set up like a hawker centre, the space operates as the bakery Arome during the day before flipping into the Singapulah restaurant in the evening.

At Arome you can get a range of breads and pastries like the signature milk bread toast, whereas Singapulah serves up authentic Singaporean dishes not often seen in the UK, including hokkien mee (noodles with tiger prawns) and chwee kueh (steamed rice cakes) and chef Willin Low’s Roxy Laksa.
