may sound like a musical oxymoron to most of us, but for newcomers Simmer, it’s the perfect tag for their meld of angular and atmospheric punk rock. If you want to get your head around this sound, then check out the video for their latest single ‘Head Trip’ which they’ve just posted via Noisey.

The single comes ahead of a full EP launch 30th March that will appear on the Dog Knights Productions imprint. It sees the band cast as blue-filtered silhouettes, working over their single in a dark and cramped space while grainy footage of growing up flit in and out.
