Sainsbury’s is launching a festive pop-up shop where you come in, browse, shop and then leave empty handed. Yep instead of picking up gifts to take home for yourselves, you can select goods from the shelves and donate them at the tills to people in need. You’ll be able to choose from items like non-perishable food, toys and toiletries will be on the shelves, products much needed by local food banks, pay for them using tokens and donate them at the check-out at the end of the Christmas-themed experience.
Tickets on the door of the pop-up cost a fiver (children go free), with the money also being donated to local food banks. ‘Tis the season of giving after all.
