three piece Shiny Darkly have returned with their latest single ‘Soft Skin’ and it’s a catchy little number to say the least. Think Joy Division but more Scandinavia than Salford and performed with the swagger of a young Allison Mosshart and Jamie Hince. The video features enough crotch shots and poorly applied lip liner to co-inside with the 80s gothic art rock influences and stylish Nordic noir sound but it’s actually the undeniably energetic undertones of garage rock that make the track so refreshing and stand-out.
