SHAUN PRESLAND TO OPEN PACIFIC
Aussie chef Shaun Presland, who was previously executive chef of the Sake restaurant group down under and is a bit of an expert when it comes to Japanese food, is opening his first restaurant in London. Taking over the old Foxlow site in Soho, Pacific will be a mix of Japanese and Australian food, so expect an all-day menu, fresh dishes and lots of colour. And it’s set to be on the more affordable side so it’ll be different from what he’s previously done in Australia.
Though Pacific will be his debut restaurant in the city, Shaun has cooked here before, including a successful residency at Carousel and he’s gathered a great team of hospitality pros to help him on his journey. This is going to be a very big opening, so we’ll bring you more deets when we have them.
