It’s the 11th anniversary of Sharon Van Etten’s debut album because i was in love, and she’s marking the occasion by performing the record in full in a livestream. As she explained, “I wrote my debut album, because i was in love, in a sort of self-imposed quarantine—alone with a guitar in my parents’ basement. With the album’s anniversary approaching, I thought it’d be meaningful to play it live the way it was conceived.”
Tickets to the livestream cost $12 with a portion of the proceeds going to NIVA: National Independent Venue Association, and Van Etten’s band and crew.
