Burger joint Shake Shack has collabed with Sri Lankan restaurant Hoppers to create two limited-edition dishes. Injecting some spice to the Shake Shack menu, the dishes are the Lankan Shack burger, a burger pimped with onions pickled in coconut vinegar, coriander and green chilli mayo, a Sri Lankan mustard cream sauce finished with a braised short rib curry, and the chilli cheese fries, which were inspired by Hopper’s famous chilli cheese dosa.
All proceeds of the dishes will be donated to The Felix Project, a London based charity combating food waste and hunger. The specials will be available at the Covent Garden Shake Shack and will only be around for two days, so there are limited quantities available and if they taste as good as they sound we expect people will be flocking in their masses to try them.
