Sex Pistols & Frank Carter Are Playing a Secret London Show

Ahead of their show on Mon 24th March at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs, it looks like Sex Pistols & Frank Carter are playing a tiny secret gig the week before. An announcement for a mystery group called The SPOTS playing at the 350-capacity 100 Club on Oxford Street on Fri 21st March has been posted, and people are pretty sure it’s gonna be a wam-up show for Sex Pistols – SPOTS, aka Sex Pistols On Tour, was an acronym used by the band to book gigs in 1977 as they were under fire in the press and the police would have likely shut the shows down.

Frank Carter, of Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, started performing with the original members of the Sex Pistols (bar John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten) last year for a fundraising concert for Bush Hall. The new-look group have since toured the UK and following the Royal Albert Hall gig, will be playing this year’s Download Festival, so this 100 Club show is a rare opportunity to see them in such an intimate environment.

Tickets for the SPOTS show are available by ballot only and you can purchase up to two tickets. The ballot is open until 12pm on Fri 14th March, so if you wanna be there, get your name in the mix below.
