Serata Hall, a huge new co-working space complete with a bakery, cocktail bar, wood oven and distillery, is opening in Old Street’s The Bower development this April. The new site is the fourth from Albion & East, who also have Martello Hall in Hackney and Canova Hall and Cattivo in Brixton, and they must be doing something right because they’ve bagged a prime spot right by the roundabout.
As well as having hot desking and events space, Serata Hall will also serve up a similar Italian-American food menu as the other halls – dishes include slow beef rigatoni, spicy ragu tagliatelle, beetroot frittata, house fried chicken and a range of pizzas, plus fresh artisan breads and cakes from the bakery.
Obvs with a distillery on site, gin is going to feature heavily behind the bar (you can even mix up some yourself at a blending masterclass) but there’ll also be wine on tap, absinthe and cocktail trolleys to choose from.
