Selfridges is going all out on the sustainability front and committing to radically changing the way we shop by 2025 by launching Project Earth. As well as using more eco-friendly materials across the business and working with sustainable brand partners, Selfridges is also launching a host of new retail experiences and a programme of activities, including:
The Project Earth Shop – an expanding edit of sustainable fashion and eco-conscious beauty products, including a refillable fragrance bar in-store where you can refill scents from the likes Tom Ford, Gucci, Le Labo and Experimental Perfume Club. More than 500 new products will launch in the Foodhall, including carbon-neutral coffee, preserves made from wasted fruit and ethically sourced bean-to-bar chocolate.
Pre-loved, Rent and Repair – shop from archive and pre-loved clothing and accessories with Resellfridges; rent vintage pieces from HURR Collective x Selfridges; and fix your fave pieces with the Repairs Concierge.
The Future of Shopping: Discuss – in-store and online events and workshops around sustainability, including an ethical consumerism debate with The Guardian and the future of sustainable beauty with Sali Hughes.
